Hello everyone 
For those on the recent member2member call I talked about the high possibility of being made redundant the following day and how I have approached this likely outcome in terms of my mindset.

So as expected that was the call I received and I am now looking at the next part of my journey and how I will achieve any unfulfilled potential over the next next few years and leave nothing on the pitch.
So what was my mindset and the main things that formed my winning habits over the last 6 weeks to make sure I was ready .....? 

Firstly I planned a short family break in Edinburgh at the time I would find out the decision and so at 1.30 on Thursday myself, my amazing wife and son were in the zoo and I found a quiet space for 10 mins to take the call (next to the Rhino enclosure) - otherwise known as one of Andy’s visual representations of Resilience !!

Being out of work can be tough. It’s easy to become disconnected and lose your professional ‘edge’. Confidence can drain, your days quickly become unstructured and there can be moments when you feel helpless.

 

If this sounds like you then reach out. I’d love to see where I can help. If you’re stronger than this, then help others. There are many people not working who you can probably give a helping hand to. 

 

So, this is me. I’ve become compelled to do my best to try and help others and I’ve compiled my own #tips for getting through these important moments. Of course, these are just a few so when you think of better ideas please do share.

If you are reading this and you’re an Olympic cyclist then of course the answer might well be yes!  I typed that heading and it instantly made me think of the importance of clear communication - demonstrated perfectly by a simple one liner which could have 2 meanings which you may well have heard before… ‘Franz Klammer’s business is going downhill fast’.
